On May 30, coaches from the PeeWee and Midget football teams attended the USA Football Coaches School, hosted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Held at the Steelers training facility, the coaches attended classes in offense and defense strategy, special teams, and general coaching tips. The coaches also observed new drills and techniques as demonstrated by some of the top high-school teams in the state. All of the coaches agreed that it was a great experience and will be bringing what they learned back to their Belltown teams. The trip was funded by the coaches.
